Location: Bago State Forest, Laurel Hill NSW AUSTRALIA
This image was taken at 8pm at night with a full moon. The dim, soft white light from the moon and a very long exposure resulted in the moody image that captured the eerily quiet, still and mysterious feeling of the forest at night.
NOTE: This forest was burnt beyond revival in the summer fires of 2020. It is said that it will take 50-100 years to see the forest like it was again. So I feel privileged to have experienced it and photographed it in all its glory.
